March 2nd – How to Make Your Quilts Sing

Location: Fond du Lac Public Library ( Eugene G. McLane Meeting Room )
32 Sheboygan St, Fond du Lac, WI 54935

Time: 10 am – 2 pm (Library opens at 9)

Program: Do you ever get stuck picking a design for a quilt? Do your clients need help picking designs? This will the the meeting for you!!!! Gwendolyn Roark will be presenting a methodology for selecting quilting designs. How to keep your designs organized. What things should you consider when selecting a quilting design. And some out of the box ways to think about quilting designs.

In addition, to the program, challenge quilts are due at this meeting. Guild members will be voting for 1st place.

This meeting will be a pot luck, please bring a dish to pass.

May 3rd & 4th – Workshop Bethanne Nemesh

Location: Comfort Inn & Suites, 5025 County Rd. V, DeForest, WI 535322

Program: Bethanne will be teaching her quilting techniques. The classes will be lecture, no machines will be available.

Registration: Cost for 1 day is $200, or you can register for both days for $300. (For member pricing and registration, please log in to the member area.) Registration for non-members will open on February 24th.

Meals: Registration includes lunch on both days. However participants are on their own for breakfast and dinner.

May 3rd – Bethanne Nemesh Trunk Show

Location: Comfort Inn & Suites, 5025 County Rd. V, DeForest, WI 535322

Time: 6 p.m.

Program: Bethanne will  talking about “Walking the creative Path” and sharing her quilts. Come have fun and kick start your creative juices.

Registration: The trunk show is included if you are attending the workshop. If you only want to attend the trunk show the cost is $10.

August 24 – Designing Your Own Pantograph

Location:  DeForst Area Public Library, 203 Library Street, DeForest, WI 53532

Time: 10 am – ?? – this will be a 1/2 day workshop (Library opens at 9)

Program: Pat Barry will be teaching us how to make our own pantographs!! How fun will that be? The class is intended for both computerized & hand guided –computerized folks bring your PC or tablet, hand guided folks bring pens and paper

There will be a pot luck. Please bring a dish to pass.

September 27 and 28 – Quilting and Craft Supply Sale

Location: American Legion Post #481, W5377 River Rd, Wanakee, WI 53597

Time: Friday 11 am – 5 pm, Saturday 10 am – 5 pm


You have to see it to believe it!! Everything must go!!

Our members are de-stashing and giving you the chance to build your stash! Fabric from scraps to bolts, yarn, books, patterns, long arm and domestic sewing tools.

October 5th – Fabric Dying

Location: Quilt Barn Studio, 5139 S Reid Rd, Janesville, WI 53546

Time: 10 am – 2 (Doors open at 9)

Lawana will be hosting a fabric dying session. Lawana will provide the dyes & supplies, YOU provide the fabric. Instructions for what kind and how much fabric to bring will be posted later. There will be a donation jar to offset Lawana expenses for supplies.

The dying will be outdoors, and it will be messy! So dress appropriately. The meeting & lunch will be inside.

There will be a pot luck so, please bring a dish to pass.
